The Melbourne Motorcycle Expo was held over the weekend with quite a few MV riders attending along with MV Agusta having a display opposite the Ducati stand (not a coincidence as the B3 was there). While the MVs were the current range JSM also had his 'classic' 4C built by Albert Bold on show. An absolutely stunning bike in both looks and workmanship. I can see a trip to the winery in the wind. Some pics of the MV stand including JSMs classic.
There was also a Bimota stand which caught my eye as you will see. The most impressive Bimota was the DB7 on display. It comes in at 140 kg with a Ducati 1098 or 1198 engine. Not cheap at just under $100,000 AUD but they did fly the owner to the factory so they could measure him up for the bike. This is the road version with a track version available. The track bike has a bigger tank and different location for the rear sets.
Not sure which was the better , MV Agusta or Bimota. I'll let you decide.

Her name is Jolene, yes, I have her phone number and yes, planning to do some photos with an MV, either a F4 or an America.
They should never of have allowed Julians bike to be displayed, it defeats the purpose of a Motorcycle Expo as it just shows that the last 40 years have been a waste of time - things would have been just fine had time stood still.
Does anyone know when the Motorcycle Expo will be in Sydney or has it already been on for this year?
I've Googled it and it only references 2011 for Sydney.
the expo alternates between Sydney & Melbourne with 2012 being the Melbourne show.
