Gold Coast Bike Expo

Hi All,

I have just registered on the site. Name Mike McKenzie Senior Sales Moto Arena Gold Coast. As of today We have decided to put an MV Agusta Stand at the Gold Coast Bike Expo with Support from MV Agusta Imports. We will have a F4 RR and some Brutale's as well as a good supply of MV Clothing.
Would love to see and meet you all there. Your support would be fantastic.

On a second note I am planning a (long awaited) MV Social Ride on Sunday 12th February. I have permission to open the shop sunday morning at 8am for everyone to meet. Plan to leave 8.30am for a ride to Kyogle for lunch via Beaudesert, Rathdowney and Summerland Way. Return Via Kyogle, Murwillumbah, Numinbah BIG RIDE (Have reports that Kyogle Murwillumbah Rd has some damage following recent rain so caution required) I have had years of running Triumph Rat Rides so have good contacts at Kyogle for lunch but will require some Idea of numbers. All comments welcome. And once again your support would be wonderful.

Plan to hold a ride every 2 months

No F3's until end February Start March.

Regards Mad Mike

Hi Mike :)

Sounds interesting. At this stage, I think I will be able to do both the ride on the 12th and the Bike Expo.

It won't be, ignore whatever weather forcast has been made. I have a habit of bringing shit weather with me wherever i go in the world and i reckon it'll get there early for me next week.

Once went to San diego that had not had rain in 187 days. The day after we landed they had tornado and flood warnings. I watched a river appear from nowhere outside my hotel room and saw palm tree's bent double on my way back to the airport.

pack your waterproofs.....................you have been warned ;):wtf:

Guys.......serious tip.

You'll see a big Que/line up in one of the pics on the website for the Bike Expo.

That was the year I waited over an hour to buy a ticket just to get in the place.....

Take my advice, if your going, purchase online now. I have.

Then all you do is walk straight in at the ticket collect. No line wait to purchase a ticket to get in

A couple of pics from today's ride. Great to catch up and put names to faces. Magic day out after all the rain. 600km round trip for me. Definitely time for a tyre change.
Bellbird Cafe at Kennilworth

MV's at rest (not for long!) Lookout at Mt Mee.

Day's end - Dayboro Cafe

Fixed.
Not too bad considering they are from my phone, and I reduced them down to 640x480.
From left to right in the first pic:
Col, Rob, Tony Brutale, EddyPro, his significant other Alethea. The 2 others in the foreground that are cut out are Ducati riders who tagged along.

Good ride guys and gal :)

Nice to meet Jon, Col and Alethea.

Surrounded by Brutes hey ..............Bloody nice bikes :mouthwate

I've never seen so many MV's on the road in one day before, counting the number of sightings we had also.

Jon and Tony, I'll catch you guys in the coming weeks.

Eddy, hope your shoulder gets better soon mate.

Alethea, pleased to meet you. Your welcome to ride with us any time :)

Col, good luck in your quest for some wheels big buddy. I know we'll ride again :f4:
