Last Sunday, Joe Montoya, lost his life on a streetbike, hit by an on-coming car that broad-slid into his lane, on Redwood Road here In Northern California.
Joe was a great guy, one in a million personality, racer and had been President of the AFM for 17 convective years.
I raced with him and his Brother Wayne in 250 GP back in the Day,
Joe had retro-flames (flames going the wrong way) on his TZ 250, and his brother wore skeleton leathers. They were team "Bozo"
Great guys both of them.
Joe Montoya will be missed, there has been a growing Shrine up on Redwood Road all this week, and since I'm out here in California Working, I plan on paying my Respects there on Sunday.
