Since I got this, does this finally mean I have a carbon fiber problem?

Thanks Carl. 21 grams of pure enjoyment. You have to love carbon. But does this mean I have a problem when you replace these parts? Do I have all the parts yet or can I find more parts to replace with carbon:mouthwate

Yes, it will fit Andrew. My Melotti tail tidy uses the OEM plastic rear plate light. Bolts straight on.

Now, a word of caution. You do realise that Randy is going to get great enjoyment of hamming it up on this thread don't you?

BST is or was making them for the 1098 ducati. They were planning on making the top and lower triple clamps for the Agusta in carbon:mouthwate. That part was going to be around $4000 last time i checked so I passed on it.

Cheers for the info Dave..

The OEM support is magnesium, but this carbon version certainly looks tasty..

Shame it costs the price of a lung.. :jsm:

I might send my 1098 support off to the factory and get one made up..

.

Go on...you have two!!!:stickpoke

Installed the parts tonight. They look great. I am a sick sick person. I am only a few parts away from having everything made for the public in carbon on my bike. Not sure if I will ever get the tank unless I find one at a great price. Just not sure if I want to risk the ethanol gas killing the tank. Now if Dave every lets go of the one he got earlier this year I hope he gives me first chances at it. Being he got the guy to end it on ebay before I could bid:bash:

Hi Andrew,
Ed is helping with this one.
The carbon tank is at Magnum paint in North Georgia. The chips in the L & R hand side have been repaired and the tank has been painted. We ordered a pair of black MV Agusta tank decals as found on the Tamburini. All that remains, as far as Magnum is concerned, is to put a clear coat on and Ed will pick the tank up, probably in a week or so. Ed will then refresh the internal protective coating. Then it's heading south to NZ. Should be on the bike in about a month.
