Hello Chuck I am getting my act together, so I wanted to let you know my plans.
I will be leaving Boston on Friday Sept. 27 after work, with my MV in the van. Then I will stay in PA, drop the van and ride the rest of the way down. I will be in Tellico Plains from Sept. 29th to the morning of Oct 4th.
I will be in Cabin #5

My dates are a little different than the group because of how my vacation time works out.

Hello Chuck: It looks like I will be joining you this year again. My boss is away, but I do have the vacation time. I just need him to sign off on it, which I'm sure he will. I leave to go to Spain on Thursday, so I will be gone till Sept. 13th.
I called Wheelers and I should be all set for any tires replacement.

Thanks for all your offers and help.

See you in a month or so. I will be in Cabin #5

I have had my ECU tuned...not repaired.
In the maintenance section there are “sticky” threads at the top of each section. Some of those discuss ECU repairs.
If you replaced your ECU like-for-like and the bike won’t run, then the issue is likely not the ECU.

Hi dude, I have a problem with my Brutale 1090 r 2011. The garage told me the trouble was the ECU. I bought one second hand they put it in but could get the bike to start. Someone told me you had your fixed? Can you tip me on this?

Hi Chuck, hope you and your family are well.
Firstly, your comments and help on the forum is great keep up the good work.
Secondly,a non related bike question, sometimes when you post you use arrows and boxes with comments in them.
What is the program you use?
I have searched and cannot find a program.
Would you be able to either send me a link or tell me what the program is you use.
    It be be appreciated.
    Thanks Mitch.

    I suspected that :)
No worries, I will post a few things in the new members zone...
Maybe tomorrow, though, it's almost time to go to sleep, and I'm exhausted.

    Hi Chuck,

Many thanks for your swift reply.
And for your advices, especially the fist one ;-) Hopefully this message will be counted as the second one, and an introduction message should then finalize the process :)

And thanks for the info; I'm looking forward to find those covers... and the diagnostic kit!

    Cheers!

    Hi there,
I am new here and am not sure yet how to be allowed to post messages in the forums.

I just bought a Y12 1090RR with low mileage, and I am in the process 'making it mine' :)
And one of the first steps is to remove unnecessary clutter such as secondary air piping and stuff: for this to be clean enough to my taste, I am looking for aftermarket secondary air inlet covers/plates/whatever name this can have. I am struggling a bit to find those on the net, but I've read on this forum that some people have. Would you have an idea of who/where these can be found?

I am also looking for an affordable test & diagnostic kit to be able to do at least basic maintenance, set idle rpm, reset TPS after syncing throttle valves, etc. But this is another story.

    Cheers!

Thank you Chuck its Jake ( now Roehr@1250sc) I bought a New MV F4RR then worked it to F4RC spec as dealer didn't know when of if he could get a MV F4RC. Also bought a new 2016 Kawasaki H2. remember how we all stated the H2 would be a flexable flyer because chassis was too small flimsy and had no support in the rear? WE WHERE RIGHT. Still love the bike for everyday rider as its fun because of Extreme acceleration and comfy for a sportbike.. Retired because of spine problem but I think I'm treating myself to a new bike for Superbike collection . Just haven't decided what to buy next . Take care jake

Hello Chuck: Hope all is well. Last Friday morning on my way to work I was involved in a crash. I was hit while changing lanes on Mass Ave. in Boston. The lady who hit me tried to pass me rather than give me the right of way. Liability still has not been determined, so I am waiting for that. Tomorrow I am bring my bike up to Cycles 128 for repairs. It looks mostly cosmetic but that too has yet to be determined.

I am hopeful I all will be set for the trip to the Dragon.
