Tyres and how they are managed through the race seems to be the most critical factor.

Davis has a fractured vertebrae, L3. I was worried after the impact from Rea's bike. If Camier would not of went down, he would of been 3rd.

I noticed from the last 3 races I have watched there have been crashes due to rear tires going flat and i do not remember seeing this very often. Is it fairly common? i watch a lot of racing and have never seen such a rash of flat tires.

That crash of Davies was very Marco Simoncelli-ish. I think that hump on the back of his leathers saved his ass.
