I've been tight with money for the last few years, lost my house, almost lost my wife, & am now staying in a 1 br apartment with bikes in storage. Bikes are payed off, truck & car payed off, and now trying to deal with foreclosure aftermath. Also going to school full time for welding diploma/ certification.
I'd like to try Road Atlanta or the new place that was mentioned in another thread.... maybe I can sell off some things to afford a weekend of fun?? Maybe not.

What is your point?
I can tell you mine..... I don't like that location & why would I waste my money on riding there if I don't feel that I'll have fun? Sure it's fun to putt around on it and feel good about being there. Mv's are not made for that track, maybe your Brutale is.... but I think even a Brutale should deserve more respect than to be cruising around Little Tally. It's even in the name "Little Tally"....
I never complained about the location, I just didn't go.
Don't compare it with an actual race track like any Moto GP tracks.... it's not even close to them, not even close to the "Road Atlanta" or "Barber Motosports" tracks.
Ever hear anyone say "Hey next year, let's go to the Moto GP race at Little Tally." ??? Yeah right.
I know that there's a cost involved to renting a track and all. It's great that it was put together and Elton did a great job from what I've read on here. I simply didn't want to put my money into something I wouldn't enjoy to my fullest. Why does that seem wrong?
And...
I'm not trying to belittle your "Bubba Meet" at all, It's a great time for everyone to get together for the love of the Mv brand.
Do it for the love of the brand, not so you can pat yourself on the back for the next year cause you put it together.

Having said that, I doubt I'll be invited to this years meet, and I will still live either way it falls.
I love my bike and I love the people on this forum as well (even if you don't have an Mv).

I am certainly not taking sides here.... BUT..... I do see why Djester when out into the left field.

Randy asks a "wise" question (You have to know Randy and understand his humor).

Djester, sort of spills his heart on the time, sharing with us what I am sure is a very small fraction of what he has been going through during these tough times.

Randy give a "wise" comment. Knowing Randy I am 100% positive he did not mean anything bad by it.

I can understand why DJester went high into the left.

I think it was a simple care of misunderstanding.
Having met Djester at the Bubba mind, he seems like a great day.
What can I say about Randy that hasn't been said many many times over?

DrMasis

If you go to http://www.newocr.com/ and point your jpg there, it will convert to text.

Then go to http://translate.google.com/ and paste the text for translation.

It won't be perfect but you'll get the idea.

Josh, my next door neighbor is a master welder. If it has to do with metal, he can pretty much do it all. He did our front door for us at the new house and does a lot of custom work for high end builders. If you re interested, I could get you in contact with him. or even better, come spend a few days with him at the shop, you re welcomed to stay with us.
