maintenance history

Any one know if it`s possible to access your maintenance records at MV since there are no maintenance logbooks anymore, particularly to ensure that any issues raised before warranty expires are on record.
Thanks Cus.

The factory does not maintain those records, only the dealer who performed them (maybe).

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Over here, the mechanic records maintenance work done online. If you try to record a 12000km service and the previous 6000km service hasn't been logged it will not allow the entry.
One of the big warranty conditions here is you have to prove all correct maintenance has been done... Not sure if it records other issues or if it simply records that the service has been done. Next time I see him I will ask.

I have record of scheduled services by way of invoices however as my warranty expires in April 2013 I have a couple of issues with regard to cam chain noise and coolant leaks that I would like noted somewhere in the event that they turn out to be bigger issues in the future(unlikely as it maybe). Relying on the dealers memory somewhere in the future is probably not going to go well.

Correspond with the dealership (both ways) by email as a minimum. It's traceable, efficient and easy. Any worthwhile dealership looking after their client should be using it.

apologies - I didn't mean to sound simplistic, which in retrospect it sounded a bit like it.
