after market oil filter

who makes a substitute oil filter for the 1090RR? Mobil or Purolator?

Google is your friend George, this has been discussed and there's a lot of Pro's and Con's involved, unfortunately post "Pro's" come from the sellers and manufacturers and the cost saving environmentalist's.
The last time we looked at this we could not find one test evaluation which recommended the re-usable filters for road bikes as apposed to a decent Purolator or Mobil 1 filters.
I do know the recent changes at Hi-Flow has done great things for their filter quality.

Can you guess which is the K&N 204 and the OEM? The one on the right is used. I cut them open to check for F.O.D.
