Search this forum for "bike won't start" and "battery".
There is a ton of information.

Most people in this predicament find that they reversed the polarity when putting the new battery in service and have done some fuse and/or diode damage.

The Yuasa battery I fitted to my F4 750 was checked before it was sent out to me that it could hold enough charge, then after I fitted it I put it on a trickle charger over night. This is the sealed factory acid type. Once a bike is running as long as the alternator is functioning it should be fine irrespective of the batteries charged state shouldn't it?

Did you reconnect all the leads up to the battery, with my alarm etc I think each terminal on my batt has at least 3 leads?

MVBert, in your case, probably. In the case of a defunct battery, no. Batteries become massive loads on the system when they fail.

What brand of battery did you fit? Are all the leads are correctly connected to the battery? If so, have the battery tested with a load tester.

Please show us a picture of your battery connected in the bike.

And did you check the fuses?

Have you looked at the service manuals mate - http://www.teamdouble3racing.com/manuals.php .
