F4 Special Build

My previous thread was here:
F4R 2011 - Advice Needed
However, now as the build starts thought I would create a new thread so it`s easier to follow.
So just bought a 2011 F4 and I intend to add quite a few mods such as:

Wheels - Unsure as yet on OZ GASS or BST (or others)
Carbon bodywork with custom design
Magnesium bits
Possible new exhaust although already has the MV full system but I love the round Moto Corse titanium.
Fix the brakes as they feel wooden and no bite.
Slipper clutch
Lots of small bits such as 717 progrips, lithium battery, CF from fender, new DZUS fasteners etc etc.

Ok..so first mods has already been installed.
Fitted Pirelli SC2 tyres, 200 section on the rear.
DID GOLD chain

Always love these tyres and the bike came with Metzler Sportec which i am not a fan of, within 20 mins i am already happy to be leaned over and knee down on the local roads (enclosed circuit officer)

The chain just looks nicer than OEM.

Another box arrived today, Magneti Marelli Lithium battery. I am going to let the dealer install as the clutch needs a service (clunky, still bites even when lever fully pulled in)
The battery should save a few kilos, had one on my 899 Panigale and was perfect.

More goodies arrived today...

CF gloss belly pan, not sure whether to leave as is, or have painted into the new F4 style where the lower part is left black or.....other options...

Either way, beautifully made but lets see how it fits first....

From Design Corse in the UK..

Sorry for the dark pics..

Few more items:

PROGRIP 717 Grips:

Best grips you can get and hopefully cut down on vibrations (Ducati Superleggara comes with these)

RC Decal kit:

Not sure if these will go on or not at the moment.

Test fitment of Carbon belly pan:

Fits nice but can't leave on as no heat shield as yet. May get partially painted or wrapped.

Hey mate, originally wanted to create a RC but now i have the bike it looks so good just left in the standard colours so unsure where to go with it at the moment.
Either way that is just an overall look, the actual mods will stay the same, just to improve handling, braking and lose some weight...

Did you got that stickers on eBay from a guy from Italy?

I got the same and despite its really good, I think I didn't got everything. Ended having a local guy to make some.

Also, you may want to have it clear coated after application for a better finish, so it would be good to be sure what you want.

You can find my bike (exactly like yours when original) in the topic bellow. Bodywork is Fiberglas (original with original painting is stored, so I can go back if needed).

That's where you think you will stop, once you have the MV bug you won't stop, how about making an rc rep with a new set of plastics, keep the originals........well.....original. Have fun.
